Jill Doherty - Town Council

Jill Doherty was elected Southold Trustee in 2005.
She served as Vice President and President before being elected to the Town Board in 2012 and she was re-elected consistently and won re-election again in 2023.
Jill is a proven, steady hand for our town. She understands our town and our priorities.
She's boosting our economy, preserving local land, while creating unique, reasonable housing solutions and improving services for Southold residents.

Denis Noncarrow - Town Clerk

A longtime public servant, he was elected to the Town Clerk in 2021.
“I’ve worked with the folks here for a while because of the government liaison stuff so I know them well, and I know a lot of the public that comes in, so it’s going well so far,” he said.
Mr. Noncarrow said one of his goals in office is to make the town website easier to use.
“I want the website to be improved. I want people to be able to go to the website to find what they’re looking for,” he said. “There’s a lot there, it just needs upgrading as far as the clerk’s office.”
He emphasized that people can visit the town website for information or reach out with questions.
“The most important thing is that we all communicate. So I want to hear from the public. I want to hear from our employees and I want to make things as smooth as possible for everybody,” he added.

Glenn Goldsmith - Trustee

As a life long Southold resident, Glenn's family has been part of our community since the 1640's and is raising his two sons in Mattituck with his wife.
His family has been involved in the local marine industry for 100 years.
Glenn receives continuing environmental training learning about best management practices to protect the marine environment.
He’s been a Trustee since 2016.
Glenn has worked for the betterment of our local marine environment throughout his life.
Glenn protects our waterways and environment.

Kelly Fogarty - Receiver of Taxes

As a CPA for 30 years, Kelly understands finances and the best methods to maximize our financial potential.
Dedicated to the community, Kelly frequently shares her financial expertise as a volunteer with local organizations and her neighbors.
Southold trusts Kelly to make the smart financial decisions for our future.

NYS Senator Anthony Palumbo

Prior to serving in the State Legislature, Senator Palumbo worked as a Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney, where he prosecuted major crimes and drug traffickers. He has taken that background to Albany, where he’s fought to keep our communities safe, hold public officials accountable and enhance the quality of life that makes Suffolk County unique.

Anthony’s top priority is repealing the controversial bail and discovery reforms harming our residents and local law enforcement.
As Senator, he has continued to lead the effort to make our communities safer, cleaner and more affordable, while maintaining his commitment to enhancing the quality of life on Long Island.
